Bullet-time equipment diagrams

There are two main architecture types when using Xangle Camera Server

1- Raspberry Pi (4 cameras per Pi). This is the fastest and most efficient way of controlling the cameras. Using this architecture, no trigger cable / external system (Esper) is required. However, it requires you to create/manager a local network which can be overwhelming if you are not familiar with this kind of technology. Another advantage of the Raspberry Pi architecture is that it gives you access to our fancy trigger sequences like the Interval, the seamless mode or the JAF mode.

2- USB-HUB. This is a simpler solution but it comes with limitations: it is slower AND you need an external triggering system. But for 12 cameras and less, we highly suggest going that direction as you’ll be able to get started much faster.

You’ll find below the hardware diagrams for various configurations.
