Talking about Bullet-time with the SpliceBoys!

With Tom Brandon - spliceboys.tv

At the beginning of this year, I had the chance to have the visit of my friend Tom Brandon from the Spliceboys (Australia). He is one of the most creative folk in the bullet-time world and we went on this long discussion talking about our early projects and current experimentations. I hope you’re going to feel how we are both passionate about technique.

If you think that doing that kind of multi-camera work is easy, think again! Especially back in 2011 when there was absolutely no technical information available about these installations, and the only software on the market was doing only a tiny bit of the process, and in a very poorly way (I still remember those days when we had to cross our fingers and hope to get a correct camera count after launching the software once again after another crash).

The good thing now is that we have a single solution that does everything, whether we’re in a photobooth situation or in a major movie studio.
