Fast transfer speed

We’re dedicating a lot of attention to getting super fast transfer speed, and that means optimizing all steps, but also providing you with indications of where things are falling a part, so you can know what is your bottleneck (ethernet, usb, ssd, etc)

  • Fully optimized for a network configuration

  • Download 176 raw 18mp images on a 1-gigabyte network in 40 seconds

  • Optimize based on your requirements by lowering jpg preview images, or by skipping jpg extraction of some of the raw files

  • Throttle file download on slower networks

  • Performance monitoring: optimize your system and find bottlenecks

Performance monitoring inside Xangle Camera Server

  • Trigger: total trigger time / indication only (not considered in total performance duration)

  • File transfer: time to transfer all files from the cameras to the main computer (including transit to the nods if present)

  • Extract raw: extract jpg images from raw files (this is usually faster than shooting raw+jpg)

  • Check file: quick checkup

  • Input transform: any rotation / resize

  • Apply calibration: bullet-time only

  • Prepare / Generate movie: Mp4 generation (burst / bullet-time)
